Sjogren’s syndrome affects approximately 1 in 200 Americans. The disease has a predilection for women in the fourth and fifth decades of life, but can affect men and women of any age. It is important for patients who suspect they may be suffering from Sjogren’s syndrome to be evaluated by a group of clinicians with expertise in the various manifestations of this disease.
